Attention Company Chairmen

Whilst smaller companies’ directors are not bound by the Codes applying to larger, listed companies, good governance as described in such Codes is useful as a benchmark. Boards are now to be required to undergo evaluation every 3 years to ensure that they are effective. Obsidian can facilitate such evaluations for SME Boards, providing the benefits to Chairmen of relevant skills and objectivity.

If only it were a recipe which could be used in business. Or perhaps it is: the score (strategy), the choice of talent and the leader.

Hung Parliament

Fascinating to think about how well trained our putative leaders may be in management and leadership. How about conflict resolution, negotiation, running a team etc?
